Friends have told me that although the new version you are hearing here is in many ways more accessible, the original version with Robert Mooney's guitar and Cass on piano and voice had a strange and evocative quality greatly missed by those familiar with it. For this reason, I am returning the original to this link so that you can hear it once more, and let your heart break again, for your own lost beloved one. I feel for you. I know what you are going through. How do you think I came to write this piece except through dreaming of my own dear friend and knowing that because this longing has become more real than much of ordinary existence, that through the realms of higher space we have not parted, and never will part.
